The Abia State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education wishes to announced the opening of portal for the Second Batch of the Abia State 2025 Teachers Recruitment exercise.
Submission of applications will commence from Thursday 6th November to 19th November, 2025.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants Must be below the age of 45 as at December 31st, 2025.
- NCE, Bachelor Degree, M.Sc. and Ph.D.
- Applicants should note that the current recruitment is to cover the teachers shortage in the remote/rural areas of the State.
- Candidates Must be Abians or Non-indigene resident in Abia State.
- Persons with Disability (PDs) are eligible to apply but Must possess qualifications in Special Needs Education.
- Individuals without teaching qualifications can apply but are expected to obtain teaching qualification within 2 years of starting the job.
